The British are a
complex “mosaic” people and that the myth of “race” is debunked claims a genetic study.
Turi King, a co-author of the study at the University of Leicester concluded that her work showed that Britain has always been composed of a mosaic of different people.
"Human migration history is clearly very complex, particularly for an island nation such as ours, and this study further debunks the idea that there are simple and distinct populations or 'races'."
These far reaching conclusions which could have profound socio-political consequences were based on the discovery that seven men
with a rare Yorkshire surname carry a genetic signature previously found only in people of African origin.
Yes, seven men, not seventy thousand, seven hundred or even seventy but lucky number 7.
Wrong conclusions
This is pioneering work and fascinating for all academics and laymen who are interested in the history of humankind. The researchers are to be commended for their work but their conclusions fall short of what is expected from serious scientists.
To take a tiny survey and extrapolate the findings to conclude that there is no such thing as a distinct British or English people is absurd, reflects badly on the academics concerned and is yet more hogwash passed off as scientific proof that immigration is
good for Britain.
Genocide
The attacks on the identity of the British people by multiculturalists are ceaseless. The British do not exist or the British are a mongrel people is a common piece of nonsense put forward by liberal-leftists as an excuse to import millions of Africans and
Asians into the UK. After all if Britain has been a melting pot for centuries then a few more exotic elements will make no difference. This is an attack on the ethnic people of these islands in the North Atlantic, the English, Welsh, Irish and Scots, that is
the British family of nations, it is the waging of a war against an entire distinct people, in other words genocide.
Language analogy
To take another analogy the English language is largely derived from the Germanic Old English together with some French, Greek and Latin elements. It would be totally absurd to conclude that there is no distinct such language as English because one can find
in a English dictionary words introduced from Arabic (such as algebra, giraffe and zero), Persian, Hindu (bungalow, juggernaut, loot) and even Japanese.
This is yet another attack on the English in particular and the British people in general, to erode our sense of identity, our sense of purpose and our place in the world. The unravelling of the genetic code of living creatures is a fascinating science but
should not be used as a political tool to justify genocide on our ancient peoples or any distinct ethnic group around the planet. |
