A local fight back in England, but when is the Christian church going to come out in force and when is Christianity in Australia going to something about its destruction by officialdom and the rise of Islam?
In theAt last some clergy fight back!

'the decision to remove the cross was because “we live in a diverse, multi-faith society and many people have no specific beliefs at all'
A Devon Council
Following on from protests from appalled Church leaders a Devon council are to reconsider their crassly insensitive decision to have a 5 feet high gilt wooden cross removed from a crematorium chapel and the renaming of the chapel housing it - as a “ceremony hall”!
According to Alan Faulkner – who claims to be a Christian and is Torbay Council’s executive member for Environmental Services, the decision to remove the cross was because “we live in a diverse, multi-faith society and many people have no specific beliefs at all”. In which case what about the Christians who are justifiably offended by its removal – don’t they matter?

The Church - can it be repaired and made good?
Some on Torbay Council no doubt hoped the removal of the cross would go unnoticed – but it was not to be. Local clergymen, having discovered it missing, have refused to “turn the other cheek”, as is so often the case nowadays. Instead they have protested loudly and won much sympathy amongst the general public as a result.
