Finland also

The following cannot be verified but I can believe it as I have been to Finland recently and saw for myself that even at the Arctic Circle Asians and other ethnics were quite visible. So in case you thought traitors only existed in Australia then let me tell you that there are opportunists in most parliaments obeying the dictates of the U.N. which appears to be all set to become the One World parliament.

All of Scandinavia is inundated with 3rd Worlders with Sweden, Norway and Denmark being more affected than Finland.

Finland's Social Democratic Foreign Minister gets a lesson in Euro-economics
by Marko Nieminen

THE FINNISH Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja (pictured) was questioned and debated about the economic logic of Finland
's immigration policy by a patriotic Finnish young man who is a member of White nationalist discussion forum yesterday.

The debate occurred as the Foreign Minister was speaking to Finnish Philosophy students after a philosophy seminar about the "Axis of Evil" where the Foreign Minister had given a speech.

The patriot, who uses the name 'From Finland', asked: "Why is the Finnish government taking in about 10,000 immigrants every year even as Finland
has already about 400,000 unemployed and the second highest unemployment rate in the EU?" The debate remained civilized, even when the Foreign Minister clearly got frustrated and evasive early on. The patriot won every argument and finally the Foreign Minister couldn't dispute the arguments of the patriot and left.

Here is the debate, from the pen of the young patriot

Patriot: "Why is the Finnish government taking in about 10,000 immigrants every year, even as
Finland has already about 400,000 unemployed and the second highest unemployment rate in the EU? Taking in even more only makes the unemployment situation even worse in Finland. Isn't taking in more immigrants unwise?"

Foreign Minister: "Well, the immigrants create also a lot of jobs. They don't just take jobs, and the Finnish economy benefits from the highly educated immigrants."

Patriot: "But aren't the majority of the immigrants poorly educated -- and don't they mainly only go into low income jobs?"

Foreign Minister: "But Finns don't want to do those jobs."

Patriot: "Finns want to do these jobs, but with a salary you can live on. The immigrants from poorer nations are willing to do the jobs cheaper than Finns -- but every foreigner who gets a job means some Finn will not get the job, and so the unemployment level rises even higher and the Finnish economy loses."

Foreign Minister: "The majority of the people who are unemployed now will be unemployed their entire life till they retire." [The Foreign Minister begins walking away. Patriot goes with him and continues to speak.]

Patriot: "But taking in more immigrants only makes the unemployment rate worse. There is no reason to take in more immigrants."

Foreign Minister: "...."

Patriot: "You spoke supportively about the World Trade Organization -- but isn't the WTO a bad institution for Finland and Europe, as it wants to remove all our defenses against cheap labor countries' production?"

Foreign Minister: "Everyone benefits from free trade. Them and us."

Patriot: "But without any tariffs our wages will in the end drop to the same low level as in the Third World nations. If businesses can go global, so should (workers' rights) Unions. We should have a tariff, so that if the workers in the other country aren't paid the same wage they would be paid here for the same job, the product should have a tariff if it comes here."

Foreign Minister: "That would be the worst possible solution! We wouldn't get products here and our economy would collapse with this."

Patriot: "We would make what we need here. This system would work even better if this was realized in the whole EU, not just in Finland
."

Foreign Minister: "And all the Third World nations would just have to sell their raw resources? Is that what you mean?"

Patriot: "We would pay good money for the raw resources -- and I'm only talking about the production of Europe's goods in Europe to employ the Europeans. The rest of the world would of course freely trade with each other and Europe with them."

Foreign Minister: "He he... that has been tried in the 1930s and it didn't work."

Patriot: "Excuse me, but what do you mean?"

Foreign Minister: "Then every country wanted to make its own goods and everyone had big tariffs. Tariffs don't work."

Patriot: "But back then production stayed in the European countries, and in the nationalistic tariff era our nation's wealth and riches and good economy were made"

Foreign Minister: "...Well..."

[Then someone else comes to talk to the minister. When the other man leaves I continued:]

Patriot: "Well how, according to you, could we get employment up in Finland?"

Foreign Minister: "Finnish people must become more productive to be able to compete with foreign labor."

Patriot: "So you really mean that Finns should work for Third World salaries?"

Foreign Minister: "Well... no... but get more effective, or that taxation of work should be lowered."

Patriot: "How should the taxation be changed?"

Foreign Minister: "Businesses that employ a lot of people should have a lower tax, and businesses not hiring many people should have a higher tax rate."

Patriot: "So you mean that the wealth tax should be raised and the income tax should be lowered?" [NV comments: Sounds like favoring large businesses at the expense of small businesses. -- Ed.]

Foreign Minister: "That doesn't belong to me at all."

Patriot: "Doesn't 'being more effective' really mean that according to you Finnish people should compete with Chinese salaries?"

Foreign Minister: "I forgot my jacket. I'll go get it."

[Goes back. A moment later returns with his jacket. I go to talk to him.]

Patriot: "I'm very sorry that I keep bothering you, sir. This will be my last question and then I won't bother you anymore... Don't you agree that massive immigration is creating unemployment?"

Foreign Minister: "But if you look at all the countries that are getting immigration, their economy is doing well. But the countries not taking in immigrants are in economic decay."

Patriot: "But that is untrue. The nations not taking in immigrants are growing economically a lot faster. All the nations with massive immigration are having severe economic problems."

Foreign Minister: "Japan is having severe economic problems and growing slower than countries taking in immigration."

Patriot: "But Japan is making more money every year and has a higher living standard than we have. Also their national economy would grow even more, but they are investing tens of billions every year in East Asian countries. Also their budget isn't ruined by their budget going toward unemployment payments. If Japan would open its borders to immigration, 20 million Chinese and South East Asians would immigrate right away to enjoy Japan's high salaries -- and Japan's unemployment rate would rise. And so even Japan would have very high unemployment costs. And their economy would have serious problems as a result. Don't you agree?"

Foreign Minister: "......."

Patriot: "Well, can you even agree that the unemployment rate in Finland is our biggest economic problem?"

Foreign Minister: "Yes. It is true!"

Patriot: "Finland is spending more money on unemployment payments than Norway is getting from selling oil. The unemployment problem should be addressed by the government a lot more strongly, as it is the biggest problem facing the Finnish economy. And is there truly any reason for taking in more immigrants? It just makes even more unemployment in Finland
."

Foreign Minister: "I go now..."

[And the Finnish Foreign Minister walked outside.]
