Leftist thugs attack Swiss patriots

A mob of a thousand left-wing thugs tore apart the
heart of Berne at the weekend. The usually placid Swiss capital has
never witnessed such scenes of mayhem after an authorised rally by the
popular Swiss People’s Party (SVU) had to be abandoned as Swiss Police
lost control of the streets.
18 police officers were injured and 42 arrests made as left-wing thugs who tried to stifle freedom of speech smashed street furniture and hurled petrol bombs at riot police. The nationalist People's Party said the incidents on Saturday were a disgrace for Switzerland. It blamed the local police and centre-left and Green politicians for failing to protect the rally. Christophe Blocher, leader of the anti-immigration, pro-sovereignty SVU accused the rioters of trying to suppress freedom of speech. The events in Berne have injected new drama into the last two weeks of a general election campaign which is expected to see the SVU take the highest number of votes amidst growing concern about third-world immigration and growing Islamification of this Alpine country.
