News from around the globe that the newspapers seldom print Disclaimer and fair comment While I agree with most of the material passed on I may not be in agreement with all. However there is much we can learn from some that we disagree with. Remember it was once thought that the earth was flat. It is
left to your judgment to determine what you agree with and what to act
upon. |

Remembrance Day with Hanoi
Jane The Courier Mail is promoting a lunch with Hanoi Jane Fonda at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the 11th November (Remembrance Day). Is Jane Fonda the sought of person that the Courier Mail should be supporting? I think not! If you have a view here is the email address of the editor fagand@qnp.newsltd.com.au and you can also copy in Brian Crisp crispb@qnp.newsltd.com.au I understand he is the editor of the Courier Mail’s BAM Book Club who are promoting this event on Remembrance Day. Below is a letter I have sent to these two addresses, you may copy it or make up your own. Please pass this message on. NM |

Is
Jane Fonda the sought of person that the Courier Mail should be
supporting? The Courier Mail is promoting a lunch with Hanoi Jane Fonda at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the 11th November (Remembrance Day). What appalling thoughtlessness and insensitivity to the memory of those who died in Vietnam. A lunch for a contemptuous traitor? Apart from the many reports of her treacherous exploits such as donating blood to the enemy there are many news reports of her disloyal acts in support of the enemy such as the act of reporting prisoners who had tried to get her to take out messages and which resulted in their severe bashing or death. There are also photos of her support for the enemy such as applauding North Vietnamese Anti-Aircraft gunners. How nauseating that you should be supporting such a person. If this disgrace goes ahead you can count on not only a loss of one customer but of as many as I can pass this message on to.
